Dr. Peter Anselmo DC, ATC
Most treatment stops where the pain does. A joint gets adjusted, a muscle gets released, the symptoms quiet down, and a few months later, the same problem shows up again, because the movement pattern that caused it in the first place was never actually addressed.
That gap is what shaped Dr. Peter Anselmo’s approach to care. He began with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before completing a Master’s in Athletic Training at Florida International University, working courtside and on the field with injured athletes who needed more than symptom relief. If the underlying movement problem wasn’t fixed, the injury simply came back. He carried that standard into chiropractic, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in 2025.
He’s also pursued advanced training beyond his degree, including certification through the Motion Palpation Institute in precise, technique-driven spinal and extremity adjusting. His training also includes Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), a method rooted in developmental kinesiology that looks at how the body stabilizes and moves as a whole system rather than in isolated parts, along with certification in Active Release Technique (ART) for targeted treatment of soft tissue restriction.
Every session at Arthrology is one-on-one with Dr. Anselmo, and it starts the same way: a real assessment of how you move, where you’re compensating, and why the pain keeps returning. From there, chiropractic care, myofascial work, and DNS come together into one deliberate plan, built not just to make you feel better today, but to restore how your body is meant to function.
